I am trying something new this year...shooting only 2 days a month!  I was getting so brunt out with multiple sessions every weekend day and my family was taking a back seat.  So to ensure I continue to enjoy my "hobby" of photography and that I put my family first I'm going to give this a try.  With that being said...here are the weekends/dates I'm available for the next few months.  If you'd like to get in on one of these dates please email me.  During the busy months of August - November I may be making exceptions to this and shooting on more dates to accommodate all requests.

If you are pregnant and are looking for a newborn session the above does NOT apply. I shoot my newborns during the week and am available for these sessions anytime! 

Please note...morning times are usually the most requested.  Because there are only so many "morning hours" in the 2 days I'm shooting these times are very limited.  How I schedule is I mark you down for a date and then the week of the session I send emails to all people on that date and get everyone's times decided.  If you have babies (newborn-18 months), morning times usually work best for them so please note that I try and schedule these sessions at my morning hours and then my late morning/lunch time/afternoon/evening sessions I save for our older kids.  If you know ahead of time that your child fits into this category when requesting a date please don't hesitate to ask for "AM" or "PM" and I will always do my best to fit everyone in at the general time frame they are requesting.

The same goes for locations...once its warm and I'm able to shoot outside more I book my sessions back-to-back in 45 minute intervals at the same location or close to it so please be mindful of this and show up to your sessions about 5 minutes early.  Also, when scheduling if you are set on a certain location (i.e. Gray's Lake, Waterworks Park, downtown Des Moines, Valley Junction, anywhere OUT of Ankeny) please let me know at the time you request the date so I can plan for travel and set up your session accordingly.  Otherwise I will pick a local location based up what I think will work best for the session.
