MOVING!!!

YES we are moving and if you like my Facebook page you already know that. But I wanted to post it on my website as well for those of you not on Facebook.  As of August 25th we will no longer be living in Ankeny. We will soon be residents of Collins, Iowa living on a photographers dream location with a pond and lots of timber and perfect "photo spots!" 

Will this impact my scheduling you're wondering?? NO!! Right now, as you know, I try and pick 2 days a month and book those days solid. I'm gone all day at either somewhere in Ankeny or Des Moines for these sessions this will continue!. For my week night sessions in September and October and beyond we can discuss a location for your session and our new place will be a GREAT spot for fall photos with 23 acres of which there is lots of timber, a pond, and many great spots for photos that is IF you choose to come to me in Collins. 

For my clients in the Marshalltown/State Center/Melbourne area I will be about 20 minutes closer for all of you!! And my Ankeny, Des Moines, West Des Moines and further west clients no fear, you can drive an extra 20 minutes east from where I live now to check out my new spot or I'll continue to come to you in Ankeny!! 

The only thing that will change is most newborns will be in my new studio at my house or at a family member's house in Ankeny IF I have a day full of studio sessions set up. Also, all discs will be mailed now at $5 a piece as I assume it won't be convenient for you to pick them up at my house anymore!

This little man is 3 months old and his big brother was such a great little model for us.  I'm so glad they came out to our place on Monday night for his 3 month session.

This beautiful mama is due in a few weeks and she is just stunning. They are going to be wonderful parents and I love some of the ideas she had for her maternity session!

I get to see this lovely family quite often. I just LOVED the outfit selection for their session last Sunday. And Miss Sophia even brought along her cousin and uncle for a few pictures!! 

Beaman Family

This is the 2nd time I've got to meet these cute little girls. They are 1 and on the go!! We had the hardest time getting them to even sit by each other for a shot!!

I met this family out to our new place last Thursday night. The weather was nice and these kiddos were great for our session, we had a fun time!! 

Adlea

Well after 2 attempts at getting some shots of this little one year old NOT crying we were unsuccessful! Sometimes when you're one you just want to cry and cry is what this little Miss did. I pulled out all the stops and even had my four kiddos doing everything to try and get a smile from this little sweetie. But mom and I just went with it and decided this is how we'll remember Miss Adlea at 1 year old! 

DeWild Family

I get to see this family every fall and we had a fun session on Monday night and the boys were great for pictures and gave us some awesome smiles!!
