Kendra and I have been trying to get Jerzey's 2 year pictures taken...well, since she turned 2 at the end of June! They have had a crazy busy summer and happened to be coming to my neck of the woods last week so we jumped at the opportunity to get a little photo session in! Adam and Kendra have such a sweet, sweet girl and she is so beautiful, just like her mama and daddy! I miss seeing and hanging out with Kendra and chatting but it was fun to catch up last week even if it was for a short while. Here is a little preview of Jerzey and her mommy and daddy!

Dyjak Family Pictures

Kari's sister-in-law Shauna had her family pictures done by me last month, remember the Grewe Family? Kari was very excited to get some family pictures and some pictures of little Avary who is such a sweetheart and oh so precious! Kari, her husband Eric, and Avary are such a beautiful family and were fun to photograph. There was some macho posing and tree climbing going on during the shoot with also the threat to climb a gazebo so to say I got a laugh or two is an understatement! Maverick, the dog, was also a trooper and was a good boy during the shoot and let us position him how we wanted! Kari and Eric, thank you for asking me to take your pictures and I hope you guys enjoy your preview!

The Kemmerer Family

Annie contacted me after reading my family blog through a friend of hers and asked if I would take pictures of her family. She said they'd tried the "studio" thing with not the best of luck, which clearly having kids my self I'm not a fan of, so when she saw my work she was very excited to get some pictures done! It worked out perfectly that I was going to Marshalltown earlier this week for a shoot that we got hers in the same day too!! What sweet, good listeners and well behaved kids her and Scott have. Connor is 2.5 and him and I took off and did our little shoot without mom and dad around and it worked out nicely. Then there's little Nelle, a fireball in disguise! Annie warned me that she had an attitude but at 18 months old it sure is cute!! A funny story...her brother was sitting in a chair I had brought and Nelle walked over and grabbed him by the shirt and pulled him out of it so she could climb on up. I about died laughing!! Annie and Scott sure will have their hands full in a few years with her! Thank you again guys for asking me to photograph your family enjoy your preview!

The Pietig Family

Angie and I had a hard time actually getting their photo session in finally after two times of having to reschedule due to the rain we were determined to get Payton's 1 year pictures in last night! And what a great night it ended up being! Payton was such a happy girl and she has such pretty blue eyes that she gets from her daddy. And is she ever a daddy's girl to which daddy replied, "That's ok by me!" I had a fun time with these guys and I hope you enjoy your preview it was so hard to narrow it down to a few!

August is BOOKED!

Thank you all sooo very much for your overwhelming support and comments! I'm very excited as I continue pursuing my passion and thank you all from the bottom of my heart for coming along for the ride!

I'm happy to report (well this makes me happy, all of you that were hoping for pictures in August probably not so much) that August is all booked for photoshoots! Every weekend I have at least four sessions scheduled and a few spread out during the weeks. So as you can see times book up fast so look at your calendars and get your September, October, and even November sessions booked now!! If you JUST HAVE TO have your pictures done in August contact me about additional dates but there will be an extra charge.

A side note, if you're interested in a newborn shoot in August those can easily be fit in anytime during the week so please contact me regarding a newborn session I can still squeeze those in as I understand we can't control the arrival of you baby/babies!

Introducing Madison Kate

My friend Justine asked me to take Madison's newborn pictures long before she was due to arrive. I was very excited that she'd want me to photograph her and Justin's newest addition. Madison arrived a week before she was due but was still sooo perfect. Her skin was flawless and for our shoot she was awake for some parts and then out like a light for others. We had such a fun time and I was able to try some fun things with her. Justin and Justine, I hope you guys enjoy your preview there are sooo many more good ones and I had such a hard time narrowing it down to these few!
